Cavers too numerous to mention packed Casa Guadalajara in Old Town on October 19, 2007 for the Reunion Meet & Greet. Early the next morning, a half dozen committee members helped Janet Reyman decorate the Baja Room at Marina Village, transforming it into a beautiful setting with a blue & white theme. Highlights included a 7-foot Caver in the lobby, a picture wall featuring enlarged photos from our senior annual and a memory area filled with personal photos, memorabilia and inspiring stories by various classmates recalling our lives and times at the Gray Castle. Rosie Partida supplied bunches of blue & white balloons and a couple fog machines for evening atmosphere on the dance floor. Then the big event!
Close to 100 of us enjoyed an evening reconnecting with long-lost friends, meeting spouses and significant others, dancing to tunes from the 60s & 70s, sipping cocktails and eating a truly delicious dinner. Souvenir CDs with 24 Top 40 hits from 1967 were provided as party favors. Disposable cameras were available at several tables and as soon as we get those developed (along with anything that people took privately and forward to me) we'll be posting pictures here.
If you were unable to attend either event, you missed a great time. Hope you can make it to future events.
